Maybe that's just my hairsplitting -- but don't take my word for it, check out these hilariously brilliant sweded versions of dozens of films:

I wonder if one could "swede" an original film?
Like use the techniques but have an original story or an original adaption/development for the screen.
Shit if I remember it right, the speeder bike scene from ROTJ was totally sweded before they came up with the final version.
The ILM guys called it "pre-visualization" when they were shooting that scene with action figures.
