Thu, March 22, 2007 - 6:33 AMGood find! I've seen a lot of technology blogs that are really just odes to consumerism - this one is genuinely exciting. -

Fri, March 30, 2007 - 9:14 AMWow, you couldn't possibly be talking about Gizmodo or Engadget could you? You mean theres more to technology than the "latest iPhone photos"?
Loving TFOT btw, needs a "Most Popular" though. -

Re: www.tfot.info
Fri, March 30, 2007 - 2:45 PMI agree TFOT is awesome. The iPhone looks like crap to me. I just wish T-Mobile would lose the exclusive among major carriers to carry the sidekick. IMO thats still the best overall pda/cell/internet device out there in form and function. Unlike a blackberry or window's mobile or treo style OS, Danger OS is quick, easy to learn and navigate and able to do it one handed and not looking at it once you know the system, the phone is easily accessible, the data is easily accessible, the screen is big and you have a full qwerty, plus the device itself is pretty solid. The first one I had was a tank, dropped it a bunch and it still worked, the screen is made to open fast and be a little flexible so it won't snap or break and the refurb I have now is almost as good. Sadly, it can't go swimming in a lake with you if you fall off a houseboat which is why I have a insurance replaced refurb now ;) -

Re: www.tfot.info
Thu, April 5, 2007 - 6:08 AMDon't get me started on cell phones. There really is no selling point to one service over another anymore besides the phone options. Unless you live out in the middle of nowhere, then you have to go with whatever gives you the best reception. Just more proof that these companies don't care about the customer at all, as long as they keep getting suckered into 2 year contracts.
On the Sidekick: All I've heard were good things about it, but T-Mobile wouldn't give me a break on one without signing into a new contract, even after close to 5 years of loyal service, so I canceled their service and transferred the number to a land line (I was only using it as a business number anyway). -

Re: www.tfot.info
Fri, April 6, 2007 - 4:13 PMMy Sidekick is actually the first cell phone I've paid for myself. Everything before was company bought. But I got an amazing deal from one of those web thingies, free Sidekick after rebate and absolutely no contract with T-Mobile but a 3 month commitment to stay with the plan to the company that provided the phone. But yeah, on the whole industry in general I could go on forever having had to work with both the consumer and corporate sides of AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon. Everytime I deal with a phone company the only thing that passes through my mind is the original Rollerball.

Sat, March 31, 2007 - 12:25 PMYeah, Gizmodo and Engadget definitely fall under that category.
I don't dislike either of those blogs; I just find it refreshing to see something different. -
