  Thing I don't get is they only use 2 cameras, they take pictures from the front. If it is "360 degrees" shouldn't there be a camera or two for the rear as well?

    Watch the video, it'll show you why they say 360. I think the regular camera's are just for stills. Even though they're from the front they're from different angles.
    
    The video shows it from allsides as it pan's around. Also shows moving objects and not just the wireframe TIE fighter and rendered head.
